Connect your myQ account to IFTTT to create automations and workflows using compatible myQ garage door devices.

Before You Begin

You will need:

• A myQ account
• The IFTTT app installed on your mobile device
• A compatible myQ-enabled garage door opener or Smart Garage Hub
• A working internet connection
• A strong Wi-Fi signal at the garage door opener location

Compatible Devices

• Chamberlain Wi-Fi garage door openers
• LiftMaster Wi-Fi garage door openers
• myQ Smart Garage Hub
• myQ Smart Garage Control
• Other compatible myQ-enabled garage door devices

Connect IFTTT from the myQ App

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Tap Discover.
  3. Tap Partners.
  4. Scroll down and select IFTTT.
  5. Tap Launch if the IFTTT app is already installed.
  6. Tap Get App if IFTTT is not installed.
  7. Install the IFTTT app and create an IFTTT account if necessary.
  8. Open the IFTTT app to complete setup.

Connect myQ from the IFTTT App

  1. Open the IFTTT app.
  2. Tap Explore.
  3. Search for myQ.
  4. Select myQ from the search results.
  5. Tap Connect.
  6. Enter your myQ account credentials.
  7. Tap Authenticate.
  8. Wait for authorization to complete.
  9. Return to the IFTTT app.

Verify the Connection

  1. Open the IFTTT app.
  2. Navigate to Connected Services.
  3. Confirm myQ appears as a connected service.
  4. Test an available Applet or automation.

Troubleshooting

If myQ does not connect:

• Verify your myQ device is online.
• Confirm you can control the device from the myQ app.
• Verify your myQ username and password.
• Sign out and back into both apps.
• Update both the myQ and IFTTT apps.
• Remove and reconnect the integration.
