Petlibro - Configure Pet Feeder Instructions

Setting up your Petlibro pet feeder is quick and easy. Depending on your model (e.g., Essential, Granary, or Air), you can configure schedules directly on the device's LCD screen or remotely using the app. Start by downloading the app, or follow the basic touch-screen setup below to get your pet fed on time.

App & Wi-Fi Setup

For smart models like the Granary Wi-Fi or Essential Wi-Fi, you will use either the Petlibro Lite or Smart Life app. [1, 2, 3]

1. Download: Find and install the Petlibro Lite app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

2. Network: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (the feeder will not connect to 5 GHz networks).

3. Pairing: Power on the feeder. Open the app, tap the "+" icon to add a device, and follow the on-screen prompts. If the Wi-Fi icon is not flashing on the feeder screen, hold the Reset or Unlock button for 5-6 seconds to enter pairing mode. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Setup Instructions & Feeding Schedules

If you are using a standard, non-Wi-Fi model, you can program the device entirely from the control panel: [1, 2, 3]

1. Unlock: Press and hold the Unlock (or Feed/Record) button for 3 seconds. [1, 2]

2. Set Time: Press the Set button. The hour will blink. Use the Up/Down (or + / -) buttons to set the hour, press Set again to adjust the minutes, and select AM/PM. Press Set to save. [1, 2, 3, 4]

3. Meal Frequency: After setting the time, press Set until the meal number (e.g., Meal 1) blinks. Choose the number of meals per day (usually 1-6, depending on the model) and press Set. [1, 2, 3, 4]

4. Meal Time: The hour field for Meal 1 will blink. Use the Up/Down buttons to set the specific hour and minute for that feeding, pressing Set to confirm each field. [1]

Portion Sizes

After setting the mealtime, PORTION will blink on the screen (or appear in the app): [1, 2]

• Use the Up/Down buttons to choose a portion size (often between 1-9 portions per meal).

• Note: 1 portion is approximately 10-12.5 ml (roughly \(\frac{1}{8}\) cup), though this can vary slightly by kibble size.

Additional Features & Notifications

• Manual Feeding: While the screen is unlocked, double-press the Manual Feed (or Feed/Feed twice quickly) button to dispense exactly one extra portion instantly. [1, 2]

• Voice Recording: To call your pet, press and hold the Record button for 3 seconds. Speak your message (up to 10 seconds), and release the button to save. [1]

General Troubleshooting

• Feeder not dispensing food: Your kibble may be too large or wedged. Empty the hopper and check for blockages. The recommended kibble size is 2-15mm in diameter. [1, 2]
