Ring - Update Name, Email Address, or Phone Number

Purpose

Use this procedure when a customer needs to update their Ring account name, email address, or phone number.

Neil Procedure

Ring App

1. Open the Ring app.
2. Select Menu.
3. Select Control Center.
4. Select Account Management.

Update Account Information

1. Select Update next to Name, Email, or Phone Number.
2. Enter Ring account password.
3. Complete two-step verification using the code sent by email or text message.
4. Select Continue.
5. Enter the new information.
6. Re-enter the information for confirmation.
7. Select Save.

Troubleshooting

Verification Code Not Received

1. Check Spam or Junk folders.
2. Verify access to the registered email address or phone number.
3. Request a new verification code.
4. Wait several minutes and try again.

Expected Outcome

Customer successfully updates their Ring account information and can continue using Ring normally.
