Schedule Logic

Splitting Activities

If a new activity is inserted within an existing activity, the original activity is automatically divided.

Example:

Original:

  • Home: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Add:

  • Away: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Result:

  • Home: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Away: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Home: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Automatic Activity Merging

Activities using the same Comfort Setting automatically merge when placed directly beside each other.

Example:

If an Away activity is removed between two Home activities, the Home activities automatically combine into one continuous period.

Edit an Activity

  1. Open Schedule.
  2. Select the activity.
  3. Modify:
    • Comfort Setting
    • Start Time
    • End Time
    • Temperature

Adjust Temperature

  1. Tap the displayed temperature.
  2. Select the desired temperature.
  3. Save changes.

When temperatures are modified, the associated Comfort Setting is updated everywhere it is used in the schedule.

Repeated Activities

Identical activities may be grouped together when they share:

  • The same Comfort Setting
  • The same Start Time
  • The same End Time

Remove an Activity

  1. Select the activity.
  2. Tap Remove From Schedule.

Choose one of the following:

Just This Occurrence

Removes only the selected activity.

All Repeated Occurrences

Removes the selected activity and all matching repeated activities.

Cancel

Returns without making changes.

Important Notes

No Schedule Gaps Allowed

The schedule cannot contain empty periods.

When an activity is removed, the previous scheduled activity automatically expands to fill the gap.

Manual Changes Create a Hold

Any manual temperature adjustment creates a Hold.

The Hold overrides the schedule until it expires or is manually canceled.
