How do I add my ecobee Switch+ to Apple Home?

Answer:
You can add your ecobee Switch+ to Apple Home using the Apple Home Setup Code included with your Switch+ installation manual.

Configuration Steps

On the Apple Home app:

Open the Apple Home app.
Select the + icon.
Select Add Accessory.
Scan the Apple Home Setup Code located on the back of the Switch+ installation manual.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup.

Troubleshooting

Issue:
Unable to find the Apple Home Setup Code.

Solution:
Check the back of the original Switch+ installation manual for the Apple Home Setup Code.

Issue:
Apple Home cannot detect the accessory.

Solution:
Verify you scanned the correct Apple Home Setup Code and follow the setup prompts again.
