Before you begin:

• Apple Watch must be running WatchOS 10 or later.
• The ecobee app on your iPhone must be up to date.

Installing and Syncing the ecobee App

Install on iPhone

1. Install the latest ecobee app on your iPhone.
2. The app will automatically install on your Apple Watch.

Sign In

1. Open the ecobee app on your Apple Watch.
2. If prompted, open the ecobee app on your iPhone.
3. Tap Sign In on the watch.
4. Follow the prompts to complete setup.

Using the ecobee App on Apple Watch

Thermostat Control

Adjust Temperature

1. Open the Thermostat Screen.
2. Tap the current setpoint.
3. Use the Digital Crown or swipe up and down to adjust the temperature.
4. Tap Done.

Good to Know

• Manually changing the temperature places the thermostat into a Hold.

Change HVAC Mode

1. Open the Thermostat Screen.
2. Tap the current HVAC mode.
3. Select the desired mode.

Available Modes

• Heat
• Cool
• Auto
• Aux

Set a Comfort Setting Hold

1. Open the Thermostat Screen.
2. Tap the Comfort Setting button.
3. Select the desired Comfort Setting.

Good to Know

• Comfort Setting Holds remain active until canceled.

Set a Fan Hold

1. Open the Thermostat Screen.
2. Tap the Fan Hold button.
3. Select the Hold duration.

Good to Know

• Selecting Indefinite keeps the fan running until canceled.

ecobee Smart Security

1. View the current armed state from the Smart Security tile.
2. Tap the Smart Security tile.
3. Select:

• Arm Away
• Arm Stay
• Disarm

Switch+ Control

1. Tap the light bulb icon.
2. Turn the switch On or Off.

Troubleshooting

Cannot Find the ecobee App on Apple Watch

1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
2. Select the My Watch tab.
3. Locate the ecobee app under Installed on Apple Watch.

If the app is not installed:

1. Scroll to Available Apps.
2. Locate the ecobee Watch App.
3. Tap Install.
4. Wait for installation to complete.
