How to Subscribe

On the ecobee App

1. Tap Home.
2. Tap Account.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Select Plus or Advanced.
5. Tap Subscribe.
6. Confirm billing and payment information.

Subscribe Online

1. Sign in at subscribe.ecobee.com.
2. Select your ecobee Home.
3. Select Subscribe to ecobee Smart Security.
4. Choose Plus or Advanced.
5. Enter billing and payment information.
6. Complete checkout.

How to Change Your Plan

Website Subscribers

1. Sign in to subscribe.ecobee.com.
2. Select ecobee Smart Security.
3. Select Change Plan.
4. Choose the desired plan.
5. Confirm the change.

Apple Pay Subscribers

1. Open iOS Settings.
2. Tap your name.
3. Select Manage Smart Security Plan.
4. Tap Subscriptions.
5. Select ecobee Smart Security.
6. Choose a different plan.

How to Change Payment Methods

Website Subscribers

1. Sign in to subscribe.ecobee.com.
2. Select ecobee Smart Security.
3. Select Account and Billing.
4. Select Payment Methods.
5. Select Add New.
6. Enter payment information.
7. Select Add.
8. Designate the method as Primary or Backup.

Good to Know

• Backup payment methods are used only if the primary payment method fails.

Apple Pay Subscribers

Payment methods must be managed through Apple ID payment settings.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

Website Subscribers

1. Sign in to subscribe.ecobee.com.
2. Select ecobee Smart Security.
3. Select Account and Billing.
4. Select Smart Security.
5. Select your current plan.
6. Select Cancel.
7. Follow the prompts.

Apple Pay Subscribers

1. Open iOS Settings.
2. Tap your name.
3. Select Manage Smart Security Plan.
4. Tap Subscriptions.
5. Select ecobee Smart Security.
6. Select Cancel Subscription.

Good to Know

• There are no cancellation fees.
• Subscription features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• After expiration, new Smart Security events and recordings will stop.
• Existing video clips remain available for up to 30 days after cancellation.
