Before you can place calls or send messages, Alexa Communications must be enabled.

Set Up Alexa Calling and Messaging

On the Alexa App

  1. Open the Alexa app.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Select Communicate.
  4. Verify your mobile phone number.
  5. Grant permissions for calling and messaging when prompted.
  6. Optionally import your phone contacts.

Once setup is complete, Alexa Communications will be enabled for your account.
