Auto-Schedule

Auto-Schedule is enabled by default and learns your preferred temperatures based on how you adjust the thermostat.

Turn On Auto-Schedule

1. Open the Nest app.
2. Select your thermostat.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Select Nest Sense.
5. Tap Auto-Schedule.
6. Choose Yes.

Nest Thermostat E Basic Schedule

The Nest Thermostat E includes a Basic Schedule option that provides a pre-programmed energy-efficient schedule immediately after setup.

To Use the Basic Schedule:

1. Disable Auto-Schedule.
2. Reset the thermostat schedule.
3. Select Basic Schedule.
4. Follow the on-screen setup instructions.

Manage Temperature Schedules in the Nest App

View Your Schedule

1. Open the Nest app.
2. Select your thermostat.
3. Tap Schedule.

Copy a Schedule to Another Day

1. Press and hold the day you want to copy.
2. Tap Copy.
3. Press and hold the destination day.
4. Tap Paste.

Add a New Temperature

1. Open Schedule.
2. Select a day.
3. Tap Add.
4. Tap the schedule grid.
5. Drag the setpoint to choose a time.
6. Drag up or down to adjust the temperature.

Edit a Scheduled Temperature

1. Open Schedule.
2. Select the desired day.
3. Press and hold the temperature setpoint.
4. Drag left or right to change the time.
5. Drag up or down to change the temperature.

Remove a Scheduled Temperature

1. Open Schedule.
2. Select the desired day.
3. Tap Remove.
4. Select the temperature setpoint to delete.

View Schedule

1. Press the thermostat ring.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Select Schedule.

Add a Temperature

1. Select New.
2. Choose a time.
3. Select a temperature.
4. Press the thermostat to save.

Edit a Temperature

1. Highlight the setpoint.
2. Select Change.
3. Adjust the time or temperature.
4. Select Done.

Remove a Temperature

1. Highlight the setpoint.
2. Press the thermostat.
3. Select Remove.
4. Confirm the deletion.

Using Nest Temperature Sensors

Create a Sensor Schedule

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Select your thermostat.
3. Tap Schedules.
4. Select the Sensors tab.
5. Turn on Use Sensor Schedule.
6. Select a time block.
7. Choose the temperature sensor to use during that period.

Check the Active Sensor

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Select your thermostat.
3. Tap Sensors.
4. The active sensor will be highlighted.

Note: Your thermostat always follows the scheduled temperature. Temperature sensors simply determine which room's temperature is used during specific time periods.
